After being in a major car wreck on the Laviolette bridge in Trois-Rivière back in 2008 rendering him paraplegic, Charles Moreau converted his triathlon career into a paratriathlon one. The Victoriaville-born became vice paratriathlon world champion the following year. After a prolific parathriathlete career, Charles Moreau migrates towards paracycling in 2013. Thanks to his constant progression, the Quebecer quickly shines in his category which is H3 hand-biking. In 2016, Mr. Moreau qualifies for the summer paralympic games in Rio. On Brazilian soil, Charles manages to secure tow bronze medals in time trial and route race events. Mr. Moreau had taken part of the last paracycling event on the North Coast of Quebec back in 2013.
